“Groveland news” – Delia Eggers was born Feb 4, 1861 in Jackson Twp, Putnam County, Ind was married to Lexis Eggers April 25, 1880; she leaves a husband and five children and a host of other relatives to mourn her departure; she died June 26, 1896 at her home in Floyd Twp; the funeral ceremonies were conducted by Elder Thomas at Palestine on June 27.
